Job Description:
We are hiring an Automation Systems Engineer in Cologne to design, program, and optimize automated control systems for industrial processes and machinery. You will develop PLC and HMI configurations, ensure system integration with production equipment, and support testing and commissioning on-site.
Your role involves working closely with mechanical and electrical teams to improve system efficiency, reduce downtime, and implement safety protocols. You will also contribute to system documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives across facilities.

Job Requirement:
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics is required. Candidates should have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation and industrial control.
Proficiency in Siemens (TIA Portal), Allen-Bradley, or Beckhoff PLC programming is essential. Experience with SCADA systems, PID tuning, and I/O integration is highly valuable.
Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, electrical schematics, and system diagnostics is required. Good communication and project documentation skills will ensure smooth team coordination.
