Job Description:

We are hiring a Bacteriology Specialist in Frankfurt am Main to lead diagnostic and research activities focused on bacterial pathogens. You will identify, isolate, and characterize bacterial strains using both traditional culture-based and advanced molecular methods.

Responsibilities include developing antimicrobial resistance profiles, collaborating on vaccine research, and ensuring laboratory compliance with biosafety regulations. Your work will contribute to infection prevention strategies, public health surveillance, and product development.

Job Requirement:

A Master's or PhD in Bacteriology, Microbiology, or Biomedical Sciences is required, with 3–6 years of clinical or research experience.

You should have extensive knowledge of bacteriology lab techniques, including staining, biochemical testing, and next-gen sequencing. Familiarity with CLSI guidelines and lab safety standards is a must. The ability to analyze trends, write reports, and communicate findings to medical or scientific stakeholders is essential.
