Job Description:
We are looking for a Brain Research Scientist in Hamburg to conduct experimental and theoretical research on neural processes, brain disorders, and cognitive functions. You will contribute to neuroscience research projects focused on brain mapping, neural circuits, and cognitive impairment studies.
The role involves designing and executing experiments using EEG, MRI, or optogenetic tools, analyzing neuroimaging data, and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals. You'll also work closely with academic institutions, hospitals, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Job Requirement:
A PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Science, or Cognitive Science is required, along with postdoctoral experience or equivalent research experience in brain science.
Expertise in fMRI, EEG, neurostimulation, or animal models is highly preferred. Strong statistical analysis skills and familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or R are important. The ability to write grants, work on cross-institutional collaborations, and mentor junior researchers is advantageous.
