Job Description:
We are looking for a Bioengineering Specialist in Frankfurt am Main to research and develop biologically inspired solutions for healthcare, biomaterials, or biosensor development. You will work on cutting-edge projects combining biology, materials science, and mechanical systems to develop products like tissue scaffolds, wearable sensors, or diagnostic devices.
You’ll support experimental design, data analysis, and prototype development while working with medical experts and regulatory teams. Your insights will help bridge the gap between biological systems and engineering design.
Job Requirement:
A Master’s or PhD in Bioengineering, Biomedical Science, or a closely related field is essential, with 4–8 years of applied R&D experience in biomedical innovation or device development.
Strong understanding of cell-material interaction, biomechanics, and biological modeling is required. Knowledge of 3D printing, cleanroom protocols, or wet lab handling is a plus. Strong communication and scientific writing skills are expected, along with project coordination abilities.
