Job Description:

We are hiring a Bio-manufacturing Engineer in Cologne to optimize and manage bioproduction systems for therapeutic proteins, cell therapies, and vaccines. You will ensure compliance with GMP, scale-up production processes, and troubleshoot bioreactor systems to maximize yield and purity.

This role involves developing SOPs, supporting tech transfer, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in quality, R&D, and regulatory departments. You’ll lead process validation efforts and implement automation where possible to ensure robust manufacturing performance.

Job Requirement:

A degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in GMP-compliant bio-manufacturing environments is required.

You must be familiar with upstream and downstream bioprocess operations, equipment calibration, and cleaning validation. Knowledge of single-use bioreactors, chromatography systems, and process control software is essential. Strong documentation and team collaboration skills are a must.
