Job Description:
The Bulk Goods Loader is responsible for the heavy lifting and movement of large, heavy, or bulky items. This role involves working in the stockroom, warehouse, or on the sales floor to move merchandise that requires significant physical strength. The loader's duties include assisting with the unloading of large deliveries, moving heavy appliances or furniture, and helping customers load their purchases into their vehicles. This position requires exceptional physical strength and a strong commitment to safety. The Bulk Goods Loader works closely with the stockroom and sales teams to ensure the safe and efficient handling of all heavy merchandise.
Job Requirement:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a warehouse, moving, or manual labor role is essential. The candidate must be physically fit and able to lift and move very heavy items (up to 100+ lbs) regularly. The role demands a deep understanding of safe lifting techniques and a strong commitment to accident prevention. The ideal candidate is a reliable, hard-working individual with a strong sense of teamwork. Good communication skills are needed to coordinate with other staff and customers. The position often requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
