Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Carpenter to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures on boats and other marine vessels. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Job Requirement: Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on marine carpentry. Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.). Excellent understanding of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety standards and ability to adhere to safety protocols.
