Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Naval Design Specialist to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As a Naval Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing naval vessels, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational requirements. You will collaborate with engineers, naval architects, and project managers to deliver cutting-edge designs that meet client specifications and operational needs.

Job Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience as a Naval Design Specialist or Naval Architect, with a minimum of 5 years in ship design. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino) and naval design tools. Strong knowledge of naval architecture principles, including hydrodynamics, stability, and structural analysis. Experience with classification societies’ rules and regulations (e.g., DNV GL, ABS, Lloyd's Register). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Effective communication skills and ability to present complex technical information clearly. Understanding of project management principles and experience in leading naval design projects is desirable. Knowledge of defense procurement processes and naval systems integration is a plus.
