Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Pipefitter to join our team in Ireland. The Marine Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems onboard marine vessels. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, fabricating pipes, and ensuring all installations meet safety and regulatory standards.
Job Requirement: Proven experience as a Marine Pipefitter or in a similar role within the maritime industry. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of various piping materials, fittings, and joining methods. Ability to use hand and power tools relevant to pipefitting, including welding equipment. Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to marine environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Trade certification or apprenticeship completion in Pipefitting or a related field is preferred.
