Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Naval Architect to join our team in Ireland. The Naval Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising the construction of ships and other marine vessels. This role requires a deep understanding of naval engineering principles, hydrodynamics, and marine structural design.
Job Requirement: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Naval Architect or in a similar role within the maritime industry. Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar) and naval design tools. In-depth knowledge of naval engineering principles, hydrodynamics, and marine structural analysis. Familiarity with international maritime regulations and classification society standards (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd's Register). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous. Eligibility to work in Ireland and willingness to travel as needed.
