Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. The Marine Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems on marine vessels. This role requires a thorough understanding of marine engineering principles, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic maritime environment.
Job Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Marine Mechanical Engineer or similar role, preferably in the maritime industry. In-depth knowledge of marine propulsion systems, diesel engines, HVAC systems, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with CAD software for design and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Knowledge of marine safety regulations and environmental standards. Willingness to travel and work aboard ships as required.
