Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Shipyard Rigger to join our team in Ireland. The Shipyard Rigger will be responsible for safely rigging and moving heavy equipment, materials, and components within the shipyard environment. This role requires expertise in rigging techniques, safety protocols, and adherence to industry standards.
Job Requirement: Proven experience as a Shipyard Rigger or similar role in a maritime or shipyard environment. Certification in rigging operations or relevant vocational training preferred. Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret rigging plans, load charts, and technical drawings. Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a focus on safety. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
