Strong knowledge of aggregate extraction, processing techniques, and equipment operation is essential. Candidates should have proven experience in managing quarry or production site operations, including workforce supervision, production planning, and equipment maintenance.
In-depth understanding of Italian health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to mining and aggregate operations is mandatory. Experience implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety is crucial.
Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with contractors, and liaise with regulatory agencies and clients. Budget management and cost control experience is important for operational efficiency.
Proficiency in production monitoring and reporting tools is desirable. Fluency in Italian and good English skills for technical communication and reporting are expected.
