We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Agricultural Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic team in Rome, Florence, within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of farming machinery and equipment used in crop and livestock production.
Key responsibilities include evaluating equipment performance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and providing technical support to farm operators and maintenance teams. You will also work on improving equipment efficiency, integrating precision farming technologies, and adapting machines for specific farm operations.
The role requires collaboration with agronomists, farm managers, and external manufacturers to test and implement innovative solutions tailored to both small- and large-scale farming needs. You will play a critical role in ensuring that agricultural operations are efficient, reliable, and sustainable.
The ideal candidate must have strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a solid background in mechanical or agricultural engineering. Proficiency in CAD software, machinery diagnostics, and Italian language (basic to intermediate) is essential. A valid work permit is required.
