We are seeking a precise and physically capable Agricultural Plot Marker to support land preparation and planting activities in Rome’s agricultural sector. This role is essential for laying out and marking planting areas, irrigation lines, and treatment zones to ensure accurate implementation of crop plans.
The Agricultural Plot Marker will be responsible for reading field maps or instructions provided by agronomists and physically marking plots using stakes, lines, paint, or GPS tools. Tasks include measuring distances, defining plot boundaries, and assisting with layout for planting, fertilizing, and irrigation operations. The technician will ensure all markings are clearly visible and properly aligned with the farm’s production goals.
Additional responsibilities include calibrating basic measuring instruments, maintaining tools, assisting with simple land surveying tasks, and reporting field irregularities to supervisors. The ideal candidate should be able to interpret basic agricultural maps and follow detailed instructions with precision.
Candidates must be physically fit, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Prior experience in farming or land measurement is preferred.
Fluency in Italian is required, with basic English as a plus. This position supports coordination between planning teams and field workers, playing a key role in the early stages of crop production cycles.
