Job Description:

Job Title: Agricultural Sprayer Technician
Location: Florence, Italy
Industry: Agriculture & Fisheries

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Agricultural Sprayer Technician to join our farming operations in Florence. This role is essential in ensuring the effective and safe application of crop protection products and fertilizers across agricultural fields. The technician will support field health by managing sprayer systems, calibrating equipment, and overseeing application procedures.

Key responsibilities include preparing, operating, and maintaining agricultural spraying equipment, including tractor-mounted, trailed, and self-propelled sprayers. The technician will mix chemical solutions accurately, adjust spray settings based on crop type and field conditions, and ensure even coverage without over- or under-application. Monitoring weather patterns and applying treatments at optimal times are also critical to success in this role.

The Agricultural Sprayer Technician must maintain accurate records of treatments, follow safety procedures for chemical handling and storage, and comply with all Italian agricultural and environmental regulations. Coordination with agronomists, machinery operators, and farm supervisors is essential to align spraying operations with broader crop management plans.

Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, a solid understanding of agricultural practices, and the ability to work independently in outdoor conditions. Fluency in Italian is required; knowledge of English and experience with GPS-guided sprayers are advantageous. This role supports efficient and sustainable farming.
