Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Agricultural Inspector to join our team in Rome, Italy, within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. The Agricultural Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with national and EU agricultural laws, regulations, and standards to ensure the safety, quality, and sustainability of agricultural practices and products.

Key responsibilities include conducting inspections of farms, processing facilities, livestock operations, and storage units to assess adherence to food safety, environmental, and animal welfare standards. The inspector will collect samples, examine produce, evaluate equipment, and prepare detailed reports based on findings. They will also provide guidance to farmers and producers on best practices and help identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of agricultural systems, food safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Excellent observation, documentation, and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and travel frequently within the region.
