The Agricultural Sifting Worker is responsible for sorting, sifting, and grading agricultural materials such as grains, seeds, soil, or compost to ensure quality and consistency in farming operations. Based in Rome, Italy, this role supports the Agriculture & Fisheries industry by helping maintain product standards for processing, planting, or packaging.
Key duties include operating manual or mechanical sifters and screens to remove impurities, debris, or unwanted particles from raw materials. The worker must inspect and handle products carefully to identify any defects or contamination, and ensure that the sifted material meets the farm’s specifications or regulatory standards. The role may also involve weighing, bagging, labeling, and preparing materials for storage or transport.
This is a physically active position requiring repetitive motion, attention to detail, and the ability to work in dusty or noisy environments. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and follows health and safety procedures strictly, especially in food or seed-related operations.
Basic mechanical skills and prior experience in farm or warehouse settings are desirable. Training will be provided if necessary.
Language Requirement: Fluency in Italian is required; basic English is beneficial.
