We are seeking a skilled and dependable Agricultural Machinery Operator to join our farming operations in Rome, Italy. This role involves the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of various agricultural machinery to support crop cultivation, harvesting, and field management activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with farm equipment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate tractors, combine harvesters, plows, seeders, sprayers, and other agricultural machinery during planting, maintenance, and harvesting seasons
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
Assist in loading and unloading agricultural materials such as seeds, fertilizers, and harvested crops
Follow field maps and GPS systems for precision farming and efficient operation
Adhere to safety protocols and environmental guidelines during machine operation and fieldwork
Report mechanical issues, wear, or damage to supervisors and assist with minor repairs
Support other farm tasks as needed, including irrigation, fertilization, and land preparation
Maintain accurate logs of machinery use and fuel consumption
Requirements:
Experience operating agricultural machinery in a farming environment
Basic mechanical skills and understanding of machinery maintenance
Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
