We are seeking a skilled Air Traffic Controller to support agricultural aviation operations within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry in Rome, Italy. The selected candidate will coordinate aerial activities related to crop spraying, fish stock monitoring, and precision farming conducted by agricultural aircraft and drones. This role is essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant airspace use in rural and coastal zones.
Key responsibilities include managing flight paths, communicating with pilots of agricultural aircraft, coordinating with local aviation authorities, and monitoring real-time weather and airspace conditions. The controller will also help enforce flight regulations, minimize risk in shared airspace, and provide logistical support during peak seasonal operations.
Candidates must possess excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing conditions. Familiarity with agricultural aviation procedures, basic knowledge of Italian airspace regulations, and prior experience in air traffic management are preferred.
A degree in Aviation Management or Air Traffic Control certification is required. Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English are essential.

Applicants for the Air Traffic Controller position within the Agriculture & Fisheries sector in Rome must meet the following requirements:
Education & Certification: Possession of a valid Air Traffic Controller license recognized by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) or equivalent EU certification. A degree or diploma in Aviation Management, Air Traffic Control, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in air traffic control, preferably with exposure to low-altitude operations or agricultural aviation activities (e.g., crop dusting, aerial surveys, drone coordination).
Technical Skills: Proficient in radar systems, communication equipment, and flight tracking technologies. Familiarity with agricultural aerial operations and basic principles of sustainable farming and fisheries monitoring is desirable.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Italian and strong command of English, both written and spoken, for communication with international aviation bodies and pilots.
Soft Skills: Excellent concentration, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. Capable of making timely decisions under pressure and handling emergency procedures calmly.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of national and EU airspace regulations, especially those related to rural and coastal aerial activities.
Other Requirements: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and seasonal peak periods, and collaborate with agricultural agencies and flight operators.
