We are seeking a reliable Delivery Helper to support the delivery and distribution of agricultural and fisheries products across the Florence region. This role is vital in assisting drivers with loading, unloading, and handling goods to ensure timely and safe delivery to farms, fisheries, markets, and processing facilities.
The Delivery Helper will work closely with drivers to organize cargo, secure loads properly, and ensure all items are accounted for during transport. Responsibilities include assisting with the physical handling of products such as fresh produce, seafood, fertilizers, and equipment, as well as helping with route navigation and timely deliveries.
The role requires physical stamina to lift heavy items, good organizational skills to manage delivery paperwork, and a proactive attitude to resolve minor issues on the route. Basic knowledge of agricultural and fisheries products is advantageous but not mandatory.
Candidates must have good communication skills in Italian to coordinate with drivers, clients, and warehouse staff. Punctuality, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends during peak seasons are essential.
