We are hiring a dependable Bus Driver to transport workers and staff between agricultural and fisheries sites and accommodation or central hubs around Rome. This role supports the smooth operation of agricultural and fisheries activities by ensuring safe, timely, and comfortable transit for employees.
The Bus Driver will be responsible for operating the vehicle on predetermined routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and company safety policies. Duties include conducting pre-trip inspections, maintaining cleanliness of the bus, assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, and managing passenger safety throughout the journey.
The role requires punctuality, excellent driving skills, and strong knowledge of Rome’s roads and traffic patterns. The driver will coordinate with site managers to accommodate shifts and special schedules during peak seasons.
Ideal candidates will have a valid Italian bus driver license (Patente D) and a clean driving record. Experience in transporting agricultural or fisheries personnel is preferred. Good communication skills in Italian and a customer-service attitude are essential.
This position plays a crucial role in workforce logistics, contributing to operational efficiency and employee welfare in the agriculture and fisheries sectors. Flexibility for early starts and occasional weekend work is required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a bus driver, preferably transporting agricultural or fisheries workers or similar groups.
Safety Awareness: Strong knowledge of road safety rules and regulations in Italy, with a commitment to ensuring passenger safety at all times. Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Physical and Mental Fitness: Ability to handle long hours of driving, remain alert, and respond calmly to road conditions or emergencies. Good eyesight and hearing are essential.
Navigation Skills: Familiarity with Rome and surrounding areas, including traffic patterns and alternative routes to ensure timely arrivals even during heavy traffic.
Customer Service: Excellent communication skills in Italian to interact politely and professionally with passengers and site managers. Patience and a helpful attitude are important.
Reliability and Flexibility: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, especially during peak agricultural seasons.
Clean Background: No criminal record or history of serious traffic violations.
