Experience: Previous experience in freight loading, warehouse operations, or manual labor is preferred, especially within the agriculture or fisheries sectors.
Equipment Operation: Familiarity with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts is an advantage; forklift certification is a plus but not always required. Willingness to learn equipment operation is valuable.
Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly to ensure quality control.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations, with a commitment to follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth loading and unloading operations.
Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to handle physically intensive work under time constraints.
Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in Italian to understand instructions and coordinate with team members.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends during busy agricultural and fisheries seasons.

Safety Awareness: Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols related to cargo handling, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe manual handling techniques.
