Job Description:
The Auto Detailing Technician is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and cosmetic care of vehicles used in agricultural and fisheries operations throughout Rome. Operating within the Agriculture & Fisheries sector, this role ensures that transport vehicles—including trucks, vans, and machinery—remain in optimal condition, supporting the efficient and hygienic movement of agricultural products, fish, and related goods.
Key duties include thorough washing, polishing, vacuuming, and sanitizing of vehicle interiors and exteriors to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants that may arise from farm and fishery environments. The technician also inspects vehicles for cosmetic damage, performs minor repairs, and applies protective coatings to preserve vehicle surfaces against harsh environmental conditions.
This position requires knowledge of appropriate cleaning agents, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations, particularly regarding water use and waste disposal.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and detail agricultural and fisheries vehicles inside and out
Apply protective coatings and waxes to vehicle surfaces
Inspect vehicles for cosmetic damage and report or repair as needed
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
