The Environmental Services Worker in the Agriculture & Fisheries sector plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, environmental safety, and biosecurity within agricultural and aquaculture facilities in Rome. This position ensures that work environments meet sanitary and operational standards necessary for the health of workers, livestock, crops, and aquatic species.
Primary responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting indoor and outdoor work areas, storage units, processing stations, and employee facilities. The worker will be responsible for proper handling and disposal of waste materials, including organic, recyclable, and hazardous waste, in accordance with environmental regulations. Duties also involve monitoring hygiene supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and reporting maintenance or safety hazards to supervisors.
The Environmental Services Worker must adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines to minimize contamination risks and promote sustainable practices within the facility. Requirements:
