Job Description:
The Building Systems Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the functionality and maintenance of various systems within agricultural and aquaculture facilities in Rome. This position involves the repair, installation, and upkeep of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems that support facility operations.
Key responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining building systems, troubleshooting and repairing issues related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical circuits, and plumbing networks. The technician will perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are running efficiently and safely. Additionally, the role involves managing and tracking maintenance schedules, documenting repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
The Building Systems Technician works closely with other maintenance and facility management teams to identify potential system failures or inefficiencies and address them promptly. The technician is also responsible for handling emergency repairs and providing technical support during facility operations to minimize downtime.
