Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Boom Pump Operator to join our team in Rome, supporting infrastructure and construction projects within the agriculture and fisheries industry. The primary responsibility of the Boom Pump Operator is to operate a boom pump truck to deliver concrete to various agricultural and aquaculture construction sites, such as farm buildings, ponds, roads, and irrigation systems.
The operator will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of concrete using the boom and hose systems, coordinating with site supervisors and construction teams to meet project specifications. The role requires maintaining the boom pump in optimal working condition, performing routine inspections, and adhering to safety protocols. The operator will also assist with setting up the equipment at job sites and ensure the proper handling of concrete deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate boom pump trucks to transport and pour concrete at agricultural and fisheries construction sites.
Coordinate with site supervisors and construction teams to ensure efficient concrete placement.
Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on boom pump equipment.
Ensure safety and environmental regulations are followed on-site.
Troubleshoot and address any issues related to pump performance or concrete delivery.
Requirements:
Valid Italian driver’s license (Category C or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating boom pumps.
Knowledge of concrete handling, boom pump operation, and safety standards.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
Proficiency in Italian is preferred.
