Job Description:
A Millwork Carpenter is needed in Florence, Italy, to support custom woodworking and millwork installation projects within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. This role involves crafting, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures such as cabinets, counters, shelving, partitions, and specialized storage units in farm offices, aquaculture labs, greenhouses, and agricultural processing facilities.

The Millwork Carpenter is responsible for reading technical drawings and blueprints, selecting appropriate wood or composite materials, measuring and cutting components, and assembling products to exact specifications. Tasks also include sanding, finishing, and applying protective coatings, particularly when working in moisture-prone environments common in fisheries and aquaculture operations.

Work is carried out in both workshop and on-site environments, requiring close coordination with construction teams, engineers, and supervisors. The carpenter must ensure that all millwork meets functional, structural, and hygienic requirements for agricultural use. This includes selecting durable materials, using food-safe finishes, and ensuring precise fitting for efficient space utilization.
