Job Description:
The Solar PV Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems within the agricultural and fisheries sectors. These systems provide sustainable energy solutions to farms, aquaculture facilities, and related infrastructure. The technician will work with solar panels, inverters, and battery storage systems, ensuring all installations are completed to high standards and local regulations.
Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, installing solar panels and related electrical components, wiring systems, and ensuring proper system calibration for optimal performance. The Solar PV Installer will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing system checks, and maintaining installed systems to ensure long-term efficiency. Regular inspections will be conducted to assess the integrity and functionality of panels and related components.
The role requires collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate solar energy systems effectively within agricultural or fisheries operations.
