We are seeking an experienced Stone Mason to join our team and contribute to agricultural and fisheries infrastructure projects in Rome. The Stone Mason will be responsible for constructing and repairing stone structures, such as retaining walls, foundations, and other masonry elements for agricultural buildings, aquaculture facilities, and related structures. This role involves working with various types of stone, including natural, cut, and ornamental stones, to ensure durability and functionality in the built environment.
Key responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and shaping stone according to specifications, laying stones to create sturdy and aesthetically pleasing structures, and using mortar or other bonding materials to secure stones in place. The Stone Mason will also be responsible for inspecting the work site, ensuring all materials are properly prepared and cut, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a stone mason, with expertise in masonry techniques and an understanding of the materials used in agricultural and fisheries infrastructure. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions are essential.
Language Requirements: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Italian is required for communication and documentation.
Contract Type: Full-time, with travel to job sites across Rome.
