A Surgical Technician in the Agriculture & Fisheries sector in Rome plays a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring the effective and sterile environment necessary for patient safety. This position is particularly important for workers in agriculture and fisheries who may need surgical intervention due to industry-related injuries or conditions.

Key responsibilities include preparing the operating room by ensuring all necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and ready for use. The Surgical Technician assists in draping the patient, positioning them correctly, and preparing the surgical area. During surgery, the technician provides the surgeon with the required instruments and materials, and monitors the sterile field to prevent contamination.

After the procedure, the technician assists in the post-operative care, ensuring that all instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and properly stored. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate records of surgical instruments used and assisting with patient transportation to recovery areas.
