The Clinical Blood Collection Specialist in Mahboula is responsible for the safe and accurate collection of blood and other specimens required for diagnostic testing, therapeutic monitoring, and blood donation services. This role demands precision, compassion, and strict adherence to health and safety protocols. The specialist plays a vital role in supporting physicians and lab technicians by ensuring that samples are collected efficiently and without error.
Primary responsibilities include preparing patients for specimen collection by explaining procedures and addressing concerns, verifying patient identity, selecting appropriate collection methods (venipuncture, finger stick, heel stick), and ensuring the correct labeling and documentation of each sample.
