Job Description:
The Commercial Cleaning Crew Member in a retail setting in Al Farwaniyah is responsible for deep cleaning and maintaining hygiene across various departments of a store, including sales floors, employee areas, restrooms, and entrances. This role differs from general janitorial work by focusing on industrial-level cleaning, often involving more powerful equipment and thorough sanitation procedures. Working under a facilities or operations supervisor, the crew member ensures compliance with cleaning standards, especially in high-traffic and high-visibility areas.
Tasks include operating floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners, cleaning glass and storefronts, deep-cleaning restrooms, disinfecting surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness of backroom and storage areas. The role may also involve waste segregation, chemical usage management, and performing scheduled sanitation for pest control or odor management.
The crew member works in coordination with store management to identify cleaning priorities during operational hours and after closing. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and knowledge of safe cleaning procedures.
Job Requirement:
Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment
