Job Description:
The Delivery Coordination Worker is responsible for managing and scheduling customer deliveries from the retail store or distribution center in Salmiyah. This role involves overseeing logistics operations from dispatch to final delivery, ensuring that customers receive their purchases on time and in excellent condition.
Core tasks include preparing delivery schedules, coordinating with drivers and delivery partners, tracking shipments, handling customer inquiries or complaints, and ensuring documentation accuracy. The coordinator must verify that items are packaged correctly and matched with corresponding invoices or delivery notes.
The role serves as a communication bridge between the store, warehouse, and external delivery teams. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliveries simultaneously are key. This role also supports last-mile delivery and troubleshooting delivery-related issues.
Job Requirement:
High school diploma; degree in logistics or customer service is a plus
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in delivery or dispatch coordination
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to use delivery management systems and software
Familiarity with courier and transport vendor coordination
Multitasking skills and calm handling of delivery exceptions or delays
Basic clerical abilities, including filing and data entry
Customer-oriented attitude to resolve complaints effectively
Problem-solving skills for on-the-spot routing issues
Flexibility to work during busy delivery windows or sales campaigns
