We are seeking a highly skilled and focused Air Traffic Controller to support aviation operations in a rapidly developing city in Oman, currently under major construction. This role is essential to ensuring the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of aircraft within the airspace and on the ground, particularly in a dynamic environment shaped by extensive infrastructure and building projects.
The Air Traffic Controller will monitor and direct aircraft during takeoff, landing, and flight, using radar, radio communication, and advanced navigation systems. They will coordinate with pilots, airport staff, and construction teams to mitigate airspace conflicts and adapt to temporary changes caused by ongoing urban development.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent decision-making, communication, and situational awareness, especially in high-pressure scenarios. A strong understanding of aviation regulations, weather patterns, and construction safety protocols is crucial.
Qualifications:
Certified training in air traffic control (ICAO standards preferred)
Minimum 2 years of ATC experience
Familiarity with aviation procedures in construction or transitional environments
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
