Job Description for Architectural Facade Installer – Construction & Building Industry, Oman
An Architectural Facade Installer in Oman’s construction and building industry is responsible for the precise installation of exterior facade systems on commercial, residential, and high-rise buildings. This role is essential in shaping the visual and functional exterior of modern structures in rapidly developing urban areas.
The installer must interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and installation guidelines to ensure accurate placement of panels, cladding, curtain walls, and other facade elements. Responsibilities include measuring and marking installation points, cutting materials to size, securing framework, and assembling prefabricated components using hand and power tools. Knowledge of different facade materials such as aluminum, glass, stone, and composite panels is required.
Candidates must have prior experience in facade installation, preferably 2–4 years, along with a good understanding of structural and weatherproofing principles. The role demands physical fitness, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and quality. Ability to work at heights and use scaffolding or aerial platforms is essential.
