Job Description:
The Agile Facilitator in Al Khor plays a crucial role in guiding IT teams and stakeholders through Agile transformation and practices. This position involves coaching teams on Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, ensuring smooth adoption and continuous improvement of Agile methodologies.
The facilitator organizes and moderates Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. They work closely with product owners, scrum masters, and development teams to remove impediments, foster collaboration, and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities include training teams on Agile principles, facilitating communication between business and technical units, and helping establish a culture of transparency, accountability, and rapid delivery. The Agile Facilitator also tracks Agile metrics to assess team performance and identifies areas for improvement.
This role demands strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a deep understanding of Agile tools and techniques. The facilitator acts as a change agent within Al Khor’s IT environment, supporting agile adoption aligned with Qatar’s digital transformation goals.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience facilitating Agile teams or coaching Agile methodologies.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead workshops and training sessions.
Proficient in Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Conflict resolution and problem-solving expertise.
Capability to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Language: Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
Other Requirements:
Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar) preferred.
Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities.
Willingness to adapt to changing project environments.
Familiarity with Qatar’s IT sector and digital transformation initiatives is beneficial.
