Job Description:
The Agile Project Manager in Al Shamal leads cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact technology projects using Agile methodologies. This role bridges communication between stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to ensure project goals are met with speed, quality, and efficiency. The manager facilitates Scrum ceremonies, removes impediments, and ensures Agile principles are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include defining project scope, managing timelines, aligning priorities with business objectives, and tracking team performance using metrics such as velocity and burndown charts. The Agile Project Manager collaborates closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and DevOps teams to ensure continuous delivery and alignment with evolving business needs. The role also involves coaching team members on Agile best practices and fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation.
Working in Al Shamal, the Agile Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting digital transformation initiatives and IT modernization strategies in Qatar’s rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM) is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT project management, with at least 3 years managing Agile teams.
Skills:
Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Strong leadership, facilitation, and team motivation abilities.
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project tools.
Ability to manage distributed teams and multiple workstreams.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
