Job Description:
The AI Researcher in Doha, Qatar, leads cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence to develop innovative algorithms and models that advance Qatar’s IT and telecommunications sectors. This role focuses on exploring new AI methodologies, improving existing technologies, and contributing to academic and applied research projects.
Key duties include conducting experiments in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data mining. The AI Researcher collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to translate research findings into practical applications such as intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and AI-driven customer solutions. They also publish research papers, present findings at conferences, and help shape the strategic AI roadmap for organizations in Qatar.
This position plays a pivotal role in positioning Qatar as a leader in AI innovation by fostering partnerships with universities, research institutions, and industry stakeholders.
Job Requirement:
Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
Experience: 4+ years in AI research or related roles.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of AI theories, algorithms, and frameworks.
Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis.
Experience with NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning research.
Ability to design experiments and analyze complex data.
Excellent academic writing and presentation skills.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
