Job Description:
The Asphalt Paver in Al Shamal plays a key role in the construction and maintenance of road surfaces by operating specialized equipment used for paving asphalt. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the asphalt is applied smoothly and evenly, resulting in durable, high-quality roads. The asphalt paver works closely with the Road Paving Specialist and other team members to lay down a smooth, uniform surface that meets both the project specifications and quality standards.
Key duties include operating paver machines, controlling the spread of asphalt, and adjusting machine settings to achieve the desired thickness and width of the pavement. The operator will also ensure that the equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to meet safety standards. Monitoring environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, is essential to ensure the asphalt sets correctly. Additionally, the asphalt paver may assist with preparing the site, including cleaning and leveling the base material before laying asphalt.
