Job Description:

The Lean Process Consultant in Al Wakrah is responsible for guiding organizations in the application of Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance. The role involves analyzing current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing tailored Lean strategies that align with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities include leading Kaizen events, conducting value stream mapping, developing standard operating procedures, and mentoring internal teams on Lean practices. The consultant works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement frameworks, measure outcomes, and ensure sustainable change. Responsibilities may extend to training sessions and capability-building programs to embed a culture of Lean thinking within the organization.

Operating in a diverse and growing business hub like Al Wakrah, the consultant plays a crucial role in helping companies remain competitive by achieving operational excellence.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, or a related field. Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt preferred.

Experience: 5+ years in Lean consulting or continuous improvement roles, preferably in manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, or services.

Skills:

Deep knowledge of Lean principles and tools (5S, root cause analysis, Kanban, etc.).

Expertise in process mapping, performance measurement, and workflow design.

Strong analytical skills and project management capability.

Proficiency in tools like MS Visio, Excel, and Power BI.

Effective facilitation and change management skills.

Language: Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

Proven success in leading improvement initiatives.

Comfortable working in high-impact, fast-paced environments.

Strong communication skills with all levels of an organization.

Knowledge of regional business practices and regulatory frameworks in Qatar.
