Job Description:
The Appliance Installer in Doha, Russia, is responsible for delivering, installing, and testing a variety of household and commercial appliances in newly constructed or renovated buildings. This includes items such as ovens, refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, and built-in kitchen systems. The installer ensures proper setup, functionality, and safety compliance of all installed units.
Key duties involve reading installation guides and floor plans, unpacking and positioning appliances, connecting to utilities (electrical, water, gas), calibrating operational settings, and conducting performance tests. The installer also educates end-users or site supervisors on basic operation and maintenance procedures. In some cases, the role includes minor carpentry or adjustment of cabinetry for appliance fitting.
Working closely with construction teams, electricians, and plumbing specialists, the Appliance Installer ensures that all units are seamlessly integrated and meet manufacturer and building standards.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma; technical training in appliance installation or general maintenance is preferred.
Experience: 1–3 years in appliance installation, maintenance, or a related field.
Skills:
Knowledge of electrical, gas, and water hookups.
Ability to read installation manuals and layout diagrams.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
Understanding of safety codes and product specifications.
Attention to detail in aligning and securing units.
Language: Proficiency in Russian; basic English helpful for reading manuals and safety instructions.
