Job Description:
The BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager in Umm Salal, Russia, is responsible for overseeing and implementing BIM strategies and technologies throughout all phases of construction projects. The role ensures coordinated and intelligent 3D models are developed, maintained, and shared efficiently across design, engineering, and construction teams, improving collaboration, accuracy, and productivity.
Key responsibilities include developing BIM execution plans, setting modeling standards, and leading project-specific coordination meetings. The BIM Manager will manage digital workflows, clash detection, and model integrity while ensuring compliance with Russian construction codes and international BIM standards. They serve as the primary point of contact for BIM software usage, providing training and support for Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
The role is highly collaborative, working with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to drive model-based design, cost analysis, and construction planning. The manager plays a crucial role in delivering efficient and sustainable building solutions.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management; BIM certifications preferred.
Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in BIM coordination or management roles, with hands-on project experience.
Skills:
Expert in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle and digital construction workflows.
Proficient in clash detection, model auditing, and 4D/5D simulation tools.
Ability to develop BIM standards and training materials.
Strong coordination, analytical, and documentation skills.
Language: Fluent in Russian; English proficiency desirable for cross-border collaboration.
Other Requirements:
