Job Description:
The Automation Technician in Lusail, Russia, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems and controls used in modern buildings and construction sites. This role supports the integration of smart technologies including lighting, HVAC, access control, fire protection, and energy management systems to improve operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Key responsibilities include interpreting electrical and automation schematics, wiring and configuring sensors and controllers, calibrating instruments, and conducting functional tests on control systems. The Automation Technician also identifies system faults, replaces defective components, updates firmware or software, and ensures optimal system performance in line with project specifications.
Working in coordination with engineers, electricians, and IT specialists, the technician ensures automation systems are installed according to building codes and client requirements. The role may also involve documenting system configurations and training end-users on system interfaces.
Job Requirement:
Education: Diploma or technical certification in automation, electrical engineering, or industrial controls.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in building automation or industrial control systems.
Skills:
Proficient in PLCs, SCADA systems, and control wiring.
Skilled in sensor calibration, programming, and panel troubleshooting.
Knowledge of HVAC, lighting automation, and smart building platforms.
Familiar with Russian electrical codes and automation safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and control logic.
Language: Basic Russian for documentation and coordination with technical teams.
