The Automation Specialist in Al Khor, Russia, plays a vital role in implementing and maintaining automated systems across construction and infrastructure projects. This role involves optimizing control systems for building operations, including lighting, HVAC, fire protection, security, and energy efficiency systems, with a focus on seamless integration and operational reliability.
Key responsibilities include installing and configuring automation devices, programming PLCs and HMIs, diagnosing faults in automated systems, and supporting the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in smart buildings. The specialist collaborates with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure the automation systems align with the architectural and MEP design goals.
The role also involves conducting site inspections, assisting in system testing and commissioning, and producing detailed technical documentation. A strong understanding of hardware, software, and network communication protocols is essential.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in automation within construction, building management, or industrial environments.
Skills:
Proficient in PLC and HMI programming.
Understanding of automation hardware and control wiring.
Familiarity with protocols like Modbus, BACnet, or KNX.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Language: Proficiency in Russian; working knowledge of English is advantageous.
