Job Description:
The Drywall Hanger in Al Thakhira, Russia, is responsible for installing wallboards and ceiling panels in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. This role plays a crucial part in preparing interior spaces for painting, finishing, and furnishing by creating smooth, level surfaces using gypsum panels, also known as drywall or sheetrock.
Key responsibilities include measuring and cutting drywall sheets to fit specific dimensions, securing panels to wall studs or ceiling joists using screws or nails, and ensuring proper alignment. The Drywall Hanger also installs insulation where required, cuts holes for wiring and piping, and prepares joints for taping and finishing.
This role requires the ability to read blueprints and construction drawings, work efficiently with a team of finishers and framers, and adhere to Russian building safety and installation standards. Working at heights, on scaffolding, or in confined spaces may be required depending on the project scope.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or technical/vocational training in construction or interior systems.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in drywall installation or related construction work.
Skills:
Skilled in measuring, cutting, and hanging drywall sheets accurately.
Ability to use hand tools, power drills, T-squares, and lifts.
Familiarity with framing systems, insulation placement, and joint preparation.
Understanding of Russian building and fire resistance standards for interiors.
Capability to read construction drawings and follow layout plans.
Language: Basic Russian for jobsite communication and safety compliance.
