Job Description:
The Mechanical Fitter in Al Daayen, Russia, is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in building projects. This includes HVAC units, pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components essential to modern construction and infrastructure operations.
Key duties involve reading technical drawings and mechanical schematics, positioning and aligning machinery parts, fitting bearings, shafts, and gears, and ensuring all moving parts function smoothly. The Mechanical Fitter also uses a range of hand and power tools to fabricate components, perform alignments, and conduct preventative maintenance checks to avoid breakdowns.
The role demands collaboration with engineers, electricians, and site supervisors to integrate mechanical systems into broader project frameworks. Tasks may also include troubleshooting mechanical faults, replacing worn-out components, and testing systems post-installation to ensure optimal operation in accordance with Russian engineering and safety standards.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or technical training in mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance.
Experience: 3–5 years in mechanical installation or industrial equipment maintenance.
Skills:
Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints and assembly manuals.
Proficient in using tools like torque wrenches, calipers, drills, and grinders.
Understanding of mechanical tolerances, lubrication, and vibration analysis.
