Job Description:
The MIG Welder in Dukhan, Russia, is responsible for joining metal parts using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding techniques on various construction and fabrication projects. This role supports the assembly of structural frameworks, steel reinforcements, railings, tanks, and metal infrastructure elements according to technical specifications and safety codes.
Key duties include reading and interpreting welding blueprints and symbols, preparing welding surfaces, setting up MIG welding equipment, and ensuring precise welds with minimal distortion. The MIG Welder also performs finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, and quality inspections to verify the strength and appearance of welds.
Working under the supervision of welding supervisors or fabrication foremen, the MIG Welder collaborates with construction engineers and structural teams to meet project deadlines and ensure compliance with Russian welding standards. The role may require working at heights, in confined spaces, or in outdoor conditions, depending on project needs.
Job Requirement:
Education: Technical certificate or diploma in welding or metal fabrication.
Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on MIG welding experience in construction or manufacturing.
Skills:
Proficient in MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys.
Ability to read welding blueprints, layouts, and symbols.
Skilled in using angle grinders, cutting torches, and measuring tools.
Familiar with Russian welding safety protocols and structural codes.
Attention to detail to ensure clean, strong, and consistent welds.
Language: Basic Russian for reading safety guidelines and coordinating with teams.
Other Requirements:
Welding certification from a recognized authority is preferred.
Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and perform repetitive welding tasks.
