Job Description:
The Pest Management Technician in Al Gharrafa, Russia, is responsible for implementing integrated pest control strategies on construction sites and within newly completed structures. This role focuses on identifying, treating, and preventing pest infestations to protect building materials, ensure worker safety, and meet hygiene and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include inspecting buildings and work areas for pest activity, assessing risks, applying appropriate control treatments, and documenting pest management efforts. The technician uses a combination of chemical, mechanical, and environmental techniques to eliminate pests such as rodents, termites, insects, and birds. Duties also include sealing access points, advising site personnel on prevention practices, and complying with national pest control guidelines.
This role involves regular communication with site supervisors, health officers, and maintenance teams to develop and maintain long-term pest prevention plans. The technician is critical in ensuring a pest-free handover environment in both residential and commercial construction projects.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pest control or integrated pest management (IPM) preferred.
Experience: 2–4 years in pest control, sanitation services, or environmental health, especially in construction settings.
Skills:
Proficient in pest identification and treatment protocols.
Safe handling and storage of pesticides and tools.
Strong inspection and risk assessment capabilities.
Recordkeeping and compliance with local regulations.
Effective communication with site teams.
Language: Proficiency in Russian; basic English is an advantage for reading safety instructions.
