Job Description:
The Road Paving Specialist in Al Khor, Russia, is responsible for laying, compacting, and finishing asphalt or concrete surfaces in road construction projects. This role ensures the durability, smoothness, and structural integrity of roads, driveways, and pedestrian pathways by applying precise techniques and quality materials.
Key responsibilities include preparing the subgrade, spreading asphalt or concrete using paving machines or hand tools, adjusting levels and slopes, compacting surfaces with rollers or tampers, and inspecting finished work for evenness and compliance with standards. The specialist may also assist with setting up traffic control zones and maintaining paving equipment.
Working under the direction of site engineers or paving foremen, the Road Paving Specialist ensures all surfaces meet design specifications, safety codes, and environmental requirements. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in outdoor conditions.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma; technical training in road construction or paving is an advantage.
Experience: 2–4 years in asphalt or concrete paving, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Skills:
Skilled in operating paving machines and compaction equipment.
Knowledge of surface preparation, slope setting, and paving materials.
Ability to work from road layout plans and engineering specifications.
Familiarity with safety practices for hot mix and heavy equipment use.
